Sheriff-Coroner's Office Identifies Girl Killed in Montecito Hit and Run Accident

MONTECITO, Calif. -- The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Coroner's Office has identified the 26 year old woman killed in a hit and run accident on Wednesday morning.

Allison Meadows of Santa Barbara was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with massive head trauma along with a second female victim.

Officials are saying they are the victim of a hit and run accident.

The CHP reports the two female victims were discovered by two men in the Summerland area of SR-192 and Sheffield Drive and were transported by those gentleman to Cottage Hospital.

Officers are not certain that this is where the accident occurred and at this time, there is no description of a suspect's vehicle involved in this accident.
